Neighborhood Network: West Chicago
In West Chicago, a suburb approximately 30 miles west of Chicago, United Way of Metro Chicago works with WeGo Together for Kids: a coalition of more than 40 organizations, to strategize on challenges, identify resources and implement programs to improve lives for community residents.
WeGo Together for Kids refined their result areas using a Results Based Accountability process. The team now structures meetings around “Turn the Curve” thinking designed to
ensure that all activities drive toward impact. They also created a map of community assets, which showcases community resources and is used to engage partners and volunteers.
Launch Date: August 2014
