United Way Launches New Initiative in Brighton Park

United Way of Metropolitan Chicago is proud to announce the launch of our new social service  initiative,  LIVE UNITED Neighborhood Network,  a coordinated outreach and service delivery model that integrates education, income and health resources within a community to maximize impact so kids succeed in school and stay on track for graduation, people have jobs and families access quality health care.
As announced at a community launch event earlier today, Brighton Park has been chosen as the site of the first LIVE UNITED Neighborhood Network. Working in close collaboration with our lead agency partner,  Brighton Park Neighborhood Council, the  initiative  creates social service hubs within three middle schools providing after-school academic programs, tax assistance, health services and more  to help residents and the community reach its goals.
