The CVS/Caremark Team Flexes Their Muscles at Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook

Nearly 50 CVS Caremark staff members gathered from all over the country at Youth Services in Glenview on Tuesday, September 20th for a very fruitful “Day of Caring.” CVS Caremark colleagues were in town from states as far away as Tennessee and Texas to attend important company meetings. They wanted to devote a full afternoon to community service, both to lend a hand and to build teamwork among associates who mostly know each other over the phone. The Youth Services staff members led tours of the new facility to small groups of CVS partners, telling the remarkable story of their agency. Volunteers helped by organizing thank you notes, gardening and preparing holiday gifts. The North Shore United Way supports the Youth Services’ Serving Those At Risk (STAR) Program, under our Health Initiative.
