Your contributions to United Way of Metropolitan Chicago support our work in the region. We partner with 198 high-performing nonprofit agencies across the city and suburbs that provide quality programming in education, income, health and basic needs. In education, United Way partners with 70 agencies that provide early education and middle school programming to start and keep kids on the right track for successful learning, and ultimately, graduation.
Chicago Child Care Society (CCCS) is one of our agency partners and a multi-service, nonprofit child welfare agency that delivers intervention and prevention services for children and youth who are facing significant challenges in their lives.
Chicago Child Care Society programs address early childhood (0-5 years), teen parents, at risk adolescents/teens, relative care and specialized foster parents and families. In addition to individual and family services, they tackle the larger societal issues of poverty, teen pregnancy and inadequate child care and healthcare. CCCS provides comprehensive support for children and links families to services that address individual needs and contribute to independence and long-term success.
With you, we’re proud to support CCCS’s work as part of ours to ensure all children have the support they need to excel in school and in life.
