As a member of this elite group, you will be recognized in a National Tocqueville Society Book of Leaders, the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago Tocqueville Society Registry, and will be invited to exclusive networking and special events with other community philanthropic leaders.

Want a chance to double or even triple your impact? Thanks to three of our top corporate partners, your 2007 Tocqueville Society gift will be matched by one of three exciting challenge grants:

• The National City Half Million Dollar Challenge Grant will match dollar-for-dollar all new and increased (to the next giving level) gifts of $1,000 or more.
• The BlueCross Blue Shield of Illinois African American Initiative Challenge Grant will match, 2-to-1, all new and increased (to the next giving level) gifts of $1,000 or more to the United Way African American Initiative.
• The ComEd Latino Initiative Challenge Grant will match, 2-to-1, all new and increased (to the next giving level) gifts of $1,000 or more to the United Way Latino Initiative.

The Step-Up Program offers junior Tocqueville membership to donors who commit to reach the $10,000 level within four years. These donors have the opportunity to become fully acknowledged members of the Tocqueville Society (from day one) by committing to the following contribution plan:
