United Way of Metropolitan Chicago provides the leadership and resources it takes to help people across Chicagoland become independent.

We work with community leaders and experts to understand the issues in each of the 238 Communities & Suburbs we serve across the region. Then we fund the network of programs that can best address those issues. Or we launch new initiatives that will. We hold ourselves and all of our partner programs accountable for delivering measurable, lasting results.
